Safe trans temp?

140-150? Id keep the temps right there. I'm looking for another post I read. These things are designed to run at SOME temp, I want to say in the 160-180 range just for the internals to function properly. Running it TO cool will have an adverse affect also IIRC.

I'm in SC and see the same summer temps you see basically. Those temps you have? I wouldn't sweat it.

Thanks I never was sure what the safe temp range was so I wasn't sure to sweat it or not lol.

Thats interesting. Maybe it causing the fluid to be too thick

Whats the best trans fluid to use? I've something about purple fluid Where do you get it at?

stay away. I have only heard bad stuff about it.

I remember something about the purple stuff being all hype? And they were getting sued to stop the lies?

Like I said, your temps are fine! If it ain't broke? Don't fix it.
