Just picked up the new issue of Diesel Power magazine. They have a huge advertisement in it for S&B intakes.

Anyone running one of these or hav any experience with them?

I am running the S&B on my truck. I like it, but the plastic housing is kind of cheesy. Some folks don't like it because it draws heated air from the engine compartment. I feel that the flow without a snorkle is better, and am willing to trade some heat for more air. As far as I know, the S&B is the only ISO certified filter on the market. I know the other aftermarket filters are similar
as far as filtration, but are a PITA to install and maintain.

I don't know which aftermarket filters are the PITA to install that locmotv mentions but the Airaid couldn't have been easier. The directions are available online if anyone wants to check them out.

Sorry, I was referring to the air filters that go in place of the factory filter.
They can be a pain!
