When I first crank the truck...it runs rough & then it smooths out. I have a 1997 F250 7.3 L Diesel. I have done everything I know to correct this but nothing has worked. Please let me know if anyone has had this problem & know what I can do to fix it...

Thanks

Truck runs rough

What have you done, or checked so far ??

I have put a Cam Shaft Sensor, Fuel Pump, A high Pressure oil pump sensor, fuel sensor on top of engine but none of these have helped. It runs rough when it's hot or cold until I hold down the throttle it quits & then it runs smooth. No check engine lights come on.

thanks

Yes, all of these items are ok...

Thanks

Plug in the bolck Heater for at least 2 hours prior to first starts. See if that helps ?*

(if not, check the GPR & GP Voltage & ohms)

*(my question about Oil wieght might have sounded Dumb to you.. but IF your oil is Thick & Cold.. due to the wieght, some of your Injectors can be slow about injecting fuel.. until the oil heats up) (viscocity issues) (rough run'n) (even in Florida)
