Today on the way home I stopped at a light and thought I would run the truck on the highest level of the TS Performance 6 Position Chip. It had been awhile since I had run it at that level. The truck launched really hard which is nice.:burnit But about 30ft into it the truck feel on it's face and started bucking really hard, I switched it back to 100+hp and got back into it and the truck ran like a champ.

Then I looked down and the SES light was on. Keep driving down the road head to buddies shop to check code. About a mile later the light went out. Checked codes and nothing showed up. Truck passed:dunno . Called DPPI to ask them about it, they refered me to TS Per. Talked to them (really nice people) and he was thinking that I had an overboost that is why the truck feel on it's face.

The only problem with overboosting is that I have a boost fooler on the truck. I was thinking about on the way home because the truck never use to do this with the old boots on (boost leaks). Now that the new boots are on with all new toque clamps (no boost leak).

So what do ya'll think? Anybody else had this problem? TS Per. said that I should turn my boost fooler back alittle bit.

You sure you didnt hit the rev limiter?

I don't believe I did. The truck left hard and shifted threw the gear just fine. Wife and I went for a ride today and pulling out of the store heading home I kicked it up and layed into it. Didn't put the pedal on the floor but was still running hard at 24 PSI. That is still as much as I can get. Seem kind of low.

When the truck shifts it still has that blow off and even when I am just running. Can't figure out when it is blowing off at, wish I could keep boost for more of the top end. Have all new boots and new torque clamps.:dunno

What did you use to read codes? Not all readers will read Ford specific codes.

Don't know what it was exactly but he has used it on other fords to read codes. Guess I'll have to try ford to see if they can pull a code on it.

Wow I run mine at 75hp. Have not run it long distances on any of the other ones. Keep the 145+ for just racing. Have run on 100hp before and it was ok. I started out on 75hp and just never moved.

You might check your map sensor line, mine was left off after I changed my stock intakes to 3" intakes and run hard till a certain rpm and then fell on its
face. Hooked it back up and it will pull 30lbs of boost.
