Today on the way home I stopped at a light and thought I would run the truck on the highest level of the TS Performance 6 Position Chip. It had been awhile since I had run it at that level. The truck launched really hard which is nice. But about 30ft into it the truck feel on it's face and started bucking really hard, I switched it back to 100+hp and got back into it and the truck ran like a champ.
Then I looked down and the SES light was on. Keep driving down the road head to buddies shop to check code. About a mile later the light went out. Checked codes and nothing showed up. Truck passed . Called DPPI to ask them about it, they refered me to TS Per. Talked to them (really nice people) and he was thinking that I had an overboost that is why the truck feel on it's face.
The only problem with overboosting is that I have a boost fooler on the truck. I was thinking about on the way home because the truck never use to do this with the old boots on (boost leaks). Now that the new boots are on with all new toque clamps (no boost leak).
So what do ya'll think? Anybody else had this problem? TS Per. said that I should turn my boost fooler back alittle bit.
