No need to prime the system, the air will eventually work its way out IF you run it out of fuel. Try not to run her dry though. Its hard on the injectors.

Cycle the key 8-10 times leaving the key in the run position for 20-30 seconds each time. Opening the water drain on the fuel bowl during this process will expedite the reprime process from the tank to the fuel bowl.(its a little faster than sending the air back through the return line to the tank) The hardest part will be purging the air from the common fuel rail........in a stock fuel system the rail is dead headed and the air must exit the injectors which can be a little time consuming, hard on the injectors, starter and battery.

Some people have no problem repriming and others do............I don't know why. :dunno
