Tbar and his wife called this morning and we got to met at the Pilot Truck stop and went from there to Larry's Pizza. Got to spend about a hour together and had some great pizza. Real good to see them again, been a long time.

Doug, good to see you and Carolyn again. That pizza was awesome!!!

We stopped in Memphis for the night and stay at the Peabody hotel. FWIW they give great discount to ex-military people m

The trip from Little Rock to Memphis was pretty rough. Big thunderstorms with high winds In excess of 50mph created epic dust storm that reduced visibility to 30 yards. Traffic slowed to a crawl and a car hauler didn't see the slow moving 18 wheeler ahead and they hit pretty hard. Since there are no shoulders to pull off on the highway became a parking lot. Fortunately we were only 1/2 mile in the back up so were were only in it about 20 minutes. I bet the back up was over 10 miles.

Got into town and the storm blew something off the top of one of these buildings that hit the top of the truck.

Needless to say it was an eventful evening.
