I'm gonna need tires sometime this winter..... just kicking around idears.

BFG makes an E-rated 285/75R16 AT/KO. Go figure, they came out with that model ~ 3 months after I replaced my stockers with D-rated AT/KO 285's, but when my current tires are worn out, I'll go with the E-rated 285's.

The last place I went to get tires 2 years ago refused to put a "D" rated tire on my F-350 (I wanted some BFG's in 265). I dont have heartache with putting a "D" rated tire on as some "D" rated tires are rated for more load capacity than an "E" rated 235/85R anyway. Those 285/75R's in the "E" class by BFG are stupid expensive. I am seriously considering a 265 in a Yoko Geolander right now. Tirerack.com has them for 99.00 a copy.

I have the BFG AT KO 285/75R16 load range D. They are on 16x8 aftermarket rims. Didn't have to shim the bumper or anything. Did recalibrate the speedometer though thanks to WIKI. They cost me $150 a tire from the truck tire shop we use at work. The same tires from discount tire were $175 a tire.
