here in pensacola, fl there is a Speedliner dealer, my 01 Dodge had a color match(electric blue) liner in it for 4 years and it was awesome, i'm gonna have one put in my Ford soon as i get my gooseneck installed. they told me $400 installed. he said they sand the bed down to bare metal to help it stick, dont know how the other guys do it.:)

PO had it sone to my truck and sprayed over the bed bolts.

i tried all sorts of stuff to strip it. some of the strippers did soften 1/32" or so. would take too long. the stuff is hard, but cuts easily with a SHARP chisel.

i used a 1/4 long bladed chisel and held it between both hands and carved/pared off the tops of the coating. once through it, it actually peeled once cut pretty good. you can do a nice job if you are careful. i did it in two 30 minute sessions on account of my hands getting tired and my but getting cold.
