When my truck sets overnight and you go to start it it revs really high. Haven't had a chance to take the SCT off of it. Any ideas? I really don't like it reving up on a cold start. I know it does it on my street, economy and looney tune. it doesn't seem to do it as bad on the looney tune?????

thanks George

How high does it rev ?
As i recall (when i lived in virginia) if it was below about
40* the truck would automatically turn up the rpms but
i dont recall how high (i dont recall it running it up as high
as my high idle switch would take it though)

I guess I should have explained it better. When I start it, the rpms jump up 1500 then back down to an idle. Like I am holding down the go pedal when cranking on it to start.

thanks for the reply
