reverse gone out on new rebuild

hey guys i'm new to the strokin world. but i bought a 95 f-350 srw and i just got the tranny rebuilt three days ago. and i lost reverse today. all other gears work fine tranny fluid is at the proper level and all. is there any sensors or switches that could be going out. any input would be greatly appreciated


p.s. this is a great place to learn ive been on TDS looking around for the past week and ive got more info off this one today.

Welcome KCI, glad you came here to visit us. Is your overdrive light blinking? Do you own or have access to a code reader to plug into the OBDII port?

no lights blinking nothing at all

nah no code reader the only thing i have is a truck w no reverse. does the speed sensors or turn signal switches or filter ever do this

other wise i love the truck

From what I remember in reading about the auto trannies is that if the filter falls out (down), you will lose reverse. Cheers!

well i got the truck back yesterday and it was a snap ring he had to pull the tranny out again and completely take it apart resnap the ring and put it back together again


thanks for the help everyone
