I like your work!

I'm looking to do the same thing but with a heated bowl instead. Any sponsors carry them??

I'm still not sold on the Hutch mod without the ability to provide heat somewhere. And...how can air get *into* the system via the pickup tube (return line) if we eliminate any vacuum leaks on the intake line? What am I missing here?
Thanks!:sweet I picked up my Dahl 100 from Bob at Dieselsite, but inquire about the heated model for it's not listed on their site which may need to be special ordered.Bob and Cheryl are great people to do bidness with.

Air usually gets drawn in thru the quick disconnects in the fuel line from the top of the fuel tank and the inlet at the fuel pump. Take those two discos out the equation and replace with 30R7 rated fuel hose & worm gear clamps(2 at each end).

After the holidays I'm installing a 26 plate heat exchanger to bring the fuel temps up to warm weather range to reduce engine noise while at the same time attaining a better fuel burn in the cylinders.

Never enough to do!;)

If you plan to run anything more than B20 biodiesel, I'd recommend that you install SAE-J30R9 fuel injection hose instead of 30R7. It's a low permeable hose that's rated for use with biodiesel. SAE-J30R7 is not rated for bio and will fail eventually. After replacing my OEM fuel hose and quick disconnects on my 6.0 from the tank to the fuel pump, I never want to have to take that tank down again.

Downside is cost, 30R9 costs about $4 per foot. It's worth it though, IMO.

Good luck.
