Replacing Starter

The starter on my dad's truck (95 F250 14x,xxx miles) finally went out tonight. I'm going to replace it tomorrow and was wondering if anybody had any tips, tricks, suggestions or cautions. The motor is a 5.8L gasser.

hold it when you unbolt it... its a not a light starter...
and use a breaker bar!!!!!!!wish i knew i got a nearly new starter SB ford from napa...

other then that its as straight foward as it looks...

A 18 inch long extension may help get the top bolts. This works on diesel starters. Loosen the top bolt first using the long extension and then the side bolts. Watch out, it is heavy as has been mentioned already.
