All I see is material: stainless steel. I'll be giving them a call in the am to verify.

Good point Scot. This warrants further investigation. :D

On edit: Got an email back...solid stainless. Bolts and washers.

Ah... I see now. I was looking at the socket cap head just cuz that's what the diesel manor kit comes with and I figured there must be a reason.

Here's a laugh... I could have had Military/Aerospace grade stainless for 65% less than the dealer wanted for OEM steel. $6.35/ea - After 100 years my truck would rust away and there would be nothing but 12 bolts lying there.

McMaster-Carr:lmao

You can stock yourself a nice little garage hardware store from MCMaster fkor not a ton of $. With a little planning, you could pretty much avoid the hardware store. :D Not that I want to avoid the hardware store, just the prices.

I'm with you on that Scot. I don;t mind paying for quality, but if I can get the same parts cheaper....????????????? Looks like a no brainer to me. :D

The Dana 80 uses the same thread size as Chevy Small block intake. You can get a package of 16 Allan head Stainless for around 12 buck at sucks, and most other Automotive Box stores.
