Nope I don't remember those days.

Partly because I'm younger and we didn't get cable until I was in college. (early '00s)

When T.V. first came out, we had about 5 channels to chose from. Of course after a few hours you got the test pattern. How many of you remember that?

We had 4. ABC,CBS,NBC and PBS. Depending on which network you wanted to watch you had to rotate the antennae. Sunday mornings all that was on was church programs. The news was on at 6 and 10 and at midnight you got to watch the flag wave and listen to the national anthem and then it was off air until 6 am.

We had rabbit ears and put tin foil on them to get the fuzz out. 2,4,5,7,9,11, and 13. Million dollar movie on sundays, chiller theatre on saturday nights. The Milton Berle show, Batman, The Munsters, Mission: Impossible, The Green Hornet, Its About Time, Time Tunnel, My Mother the car, Adam 12 and Dragnet all bring back some fine memories. Around midnite it would go black and then you had a test pattern till the next morning.

I think Amos and Andy was one of the first programs on our T.V. One of my favorites was Space Patrol. I think it was in 1950 in the Los Angeles area. I never missed a episode.
How many of you remember watching SPACE PATROL....with Commander Corry.
Of course back then, we did not question the wires holding up the space craft, or the puffs of smoke coming out the back, or the fuel gauge, bouncing off the E when they were getting low on fuel.
Must have been a million years ago. lol..:lmao
