Red truck stroker 7.3

I just bought a 2001 used (46,000 miles on it) f-250 7.3 turbo diesel a month ago.I just sold my 1999 f-250 v-10 pickup that had almost 200,000 miles on it. I love this newer diesel truck and just really interested in improving the fuel mileage on this great motor. Right now i am getting 15 mpg which is pretty good but i think it could be better. So hello to everybody and i am looking forward to chat in with you guys.

You are exactly right, the diesel price per gallon is crazy. I mean come on, it takes less to refine diesel, but it cost more than gas. Anyway, that why it is important that the technology keeps improving for better fuel mileage. I also feel like I am going over the edge everytime I fill up at the pump.

You can do a little better than 15mpg but don't expect over 20. 15-18 is the norm.
