long time no post. sorry guys, been busy making hay while it is not acting like seattle here.
would like to give an update on my baby since coming back from major surgery. first of all, a little turbo whistle never hurt anyone. seems a tad louder. they have cut my blue smoking issue probably by 70-80 percent. granted i am also using the cetane booster they sell.
the day after i got it back, (the tank was full before goin in) upon start up in the drive, she shot down to 3/4 tank and bounced around all day saturday. called in to tell them-they said watch it-could be an issue. on tuesday when to rock quarry to get 5 tons of rock, while going there at stoplites she seems to have a little lag, empty or loaded w/ rock. stopped at dealership w/ the 5 tons and gave them an update. upon parking i popped the hood and say a little puking on the degas bottle, we went to get the tech who took out a modified grease gun looking contraption (no grease, just a 1/2" *1' long poly tube) and sucked out some coolant. it obviously was warm and said to check it cold and watch it. they did have the new sticker on it and when it is cold it should come down to the new line and also watch for more leaking, cap could be shot. well i forgot to check it cold and have not looked since tuesday. been a little busy. fuel gauge since sat. til tuesday seemed to settle down by sunday. so no issue there. other than that i have been driving her like i stole her. seems way better. i now am very cautious about the idle time. not like i let it run forever before but some of the dang stop lights last almost 2 songs long on the radio-that can't be good. i must say i am lots happier. just wish my $900 buck would get here...
