i just ordered the 1996 Ford Factory Service Manual CD but it does not seem to have much info on breakdown and rebuild. guess it's based more on specs and wiring.

i'm looking for a good digital repair guide that has easy search options. any recomendations?

If your CD is like the one's I have, it should mimic the factory paper manuals (which I also have). There should be a Service section that should cover the Body/Chassis/Drivetrain; An EVTM section for wiring and vacuum, and the PCED for Engine Diagnostics. Cheers!

It takes a bit of looking around, but all of the information is there, although not in the format that you may want.

Hmm, i'll have to check again. the use interface is not very fluid.

I'm looking for something like the chilton paper guide that have illistrations and photos of parts and locations along with detailed text logging for the entire truck. i'll keep trying to browse through this disk.
