Anyone else observe their Excursion's rear hatch molding start to flake like in similar fashion to clearcoated wheels or 1988-89 Ford Paint?

Thanks for checking in Robbie,I wish'd the molding would have started this back when it was still in warranty It's an expensive piece of plastic.
