Rear Backup Sensor

my truck did not come with the rear bakcup sensor, but i have been thinking about adding one (installing the ford factory sensor). has anyone done this before? how much was it and how hard was it? thanks in advance.

i priced it last year to add the factory on.. it was way over 500, new bumper( i didnt want to drill holes)

then i found one on line car sensors or something, uses rf transmitter that mounts on top of the rear view mirro and has four little buggers n the botom of the rear bumper.
only draw back is its calibrated in meters
but the display shows which side is near something and meters or portion of till impact, all for under a 100.
there about a million on the net,

thanks robert, i would kinda like to go the factory way. i don't mind drilling holes. i want a factory look, instead of some cheezzy getup.

Yeah it's seems kinda like sunvisors on trucks, anything stock looks awesome, but any aftermarket ones just don't do a thing for me.


Get them from Ford if you want that perfect look.
