Raw diesel smell when engine cold...where to look?

The wife's dog grooming van with a 6.0 diesel has started to exhibit a smell of raw diesel fuel when the engine is started. The smell continues until the engine has run for about thirty minutes, and then it dissipates.

I don't see any leaking fuel on the ground, but is there some other place I should be looking?

Up-pipe gaskets to the turbo possibly.
