okay guys lemme pick your brains a little.
i've recently added the edge/attitude to my 04 250. now that i'm making more egt than stock what should the safe limit be set at ? i have it set at 1250 now and on level 5 it gets there almost immediately.
level 3 runs good with little backdown. i have a full 4 inch exhaust, but i was wondering if removing my cat will help with my egt's ?? my exhaust dude told me i would lose low end torque by removing my cat but does that sound right for a turbo application ??

I would think it would have to help... what kind of temps were you running before hand? I pretty much have the same exhaust setup as you, but I haven't noticed any changes in performance. Fine69 might be able to comment on the lack of torque if any...

Heck I ran against a brand new 07, and other than me pulling a truck length in 1st gear we stayed at exactly the same distance through all 5 gears up through 95 MPH up hill. He had 3k miles, I just went over 17k... I was kinda surprised, and disapointed, I would have expected something. And yes, we were essentially the same truck, tires, gears, within 150 pounds...
