After sending what seemed like hours trying to remove a flat tire does anyone have any quick tips for breaking loose aluminum wheels after removing the lug nuts. I had to beat on the rim with a rubber mallet for a while to get it free.

I always put anti-seize on the lugs and on the the hub were the rim sits.

yep. that's how it's done.
I use what's called a tire service hammer, which is four pounds heavy, on about an 18" handle, has one flat iron end and one hard rubber end

i find
to loosen the lugs a few turns, then turn the steering wheel to full lock a few times and it will pop em free up front
then put some anti sieze on the hub face when they go back on like was mentioned above

if you have a rear wheel stuck
loosen the lugs a few turns and then bounce the throttle a few times and brake sharply, should free em up
