I've looked at some of the testimonials and been to the web site. But before I drop $75 on something that could at best solve the sticky injectors on cold starts or at worse screw up a $14,000 engine, what say the sages of SuperDutyDiesel.com? Is this product any good? Bad? Alternate suggestions? The sticky injectors are a nuisance and certainly aren't doing the engine any good. But it seems to be a common problem, common enough to have made someone come up with a solution.

Your input is appreciated. Like Bartles and Jaymes used to say "Thank you for your support!"

There is a new additive that is getting some very good reviews, is far cheaper and supposedly does a better job in helping the injectors.

It is by Arcoil and is called AR9100-Nanoborate Friction Modifier. I don't know a lot about it but have been reading on several Diesel forums about it and how it works.

Sounds promising AND cheaper!

I've used rev-x in the old 6.0, and yes it helped. I'd give it a try. :sweet

I used it, had some improvement but ultimately had to replaced failed injectors. Maybe if I would have tried sooner?

I used it in mine right after I had the oil changed. So, about 2k miles on it now.
It did seem to help with how the engine ran at idle when it was cold, and seemed to help when the engine was warming up with missing.

Also, I just got the "blue spring" kit installed last weekend. THAT seemed to help more than the Rev-X.

Time will tell.

IF you need to use it more than once it's not solving your problem. Rev-X says you need to use it every or every other oil change...........HUUUUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.
