The dealer didn't check the option box for the auxilary switches when he ordered the '05 that I bought.:rant
My question is: Has anyone bought the OEM switches and harness and installed it?
Part #'s?
Plug and play?

Thanks!

Yes, I did and put them on my 06. Yes it is very much Plug & Play.
When I got mine there was a Ford dealer on this forum and he gave
us all real good prices on things. I paid about $ 78.00 for them when I got mine
Someone used to sale them on ebay.

Easy YES!

Especially easy cuz your dealer should be taking care of their mistake

The Aux switches are an easy install, Ford has instructions if you get the kit. Try POWERSTROKESHOP.com for pricing and parts.

It's a bit too late for the dealer to "correct" a mistake from 2005 don't you think?

Perhaps I mis-stated my original post.
The vehicle wasn't ordered (for dealer's stock) with the switches.
A $50,000.00 truck and they didn't order a less than $100.00 (bargain) option?
Seemed silly to me. Seems like a 'no-brainer' option on a loaded truck.

Ever since, I constantly got a 'no' answer from the dealer when I asked whether there was a kit I could buy. Not too impressed by my local dealers.

Glad for the help on this site!!!
