Where is the best place to install a EGT sender on our 6.0 Fords? It is to bad that Ford did not give us an option for a EGT gauge. Where is a good location to put the EGT gauge, so it looks sanitary?

Thanks...

I drilled my left exhaust manifold from under the truck and threaded the thermocouple there. Just go slow and take your time. It taps really well. Use a vacuum to clean out the hole before you thread on the thermocouple. I did the vacuum and medium pressure air before I added mine. Good Luck - it isn't all that hard.

I added a two gage post type gage holder. I like it, but it takes a while to get used to looking around so you don't run over pedistrains (sp). See my pictures if you don't know what I mean.

If you have the latest flash you can go to the drivers side exust manifold and take out the EBS sensor it is just a pipe that goes up to the top of the motor to the sensor, Just take the pipe off the fitting out and keep it, Then put yours in and then if you have to take it back to ford just put it back to stock

Thanks for all the above.
I'll check to see if there has been any suggested flashes since I purchased the truck in April.
