I have to thank Bob from dieselsite.com for coming up to the area on the Pulse Tour and Andy for the use of his shop. It was a pleasure to meet both of you and Alex and Jake.
The Pulse smooths out the idle and increases the power through the power band. It's gonna be hard to get some mpg numbers for a while because of the added power and heavier foot :sweet
I'm gonna try to get to Cecil County this weekend to get some 1/4 mile times. I'll post again if I do. I just don't have any pre-Pulse numbers on the track. I'll get some dyno numbers in August at Carlisle, if not before then.:D
The CPR Fuel System sounded great on Andy's truck. Now I have to start saving up for that too. Bob sure has some great products out there and a wealth of information. ;tu

Was the stock pump running low with the 175/173's? Did you have to change the IPR to the newer one along with the pump?

Keep us updated on how it does :sweet

Excellent! How many miles on your injectors prior to the Pulse install? Did your engine/injectors quiet down resulting from the Pulse?

i was losing top end performance and would throw a cel when the motor was bogged down. like if i was in overdrive at 50mph and floored it, the pump wouldn't keep up and i had a cel by 70mph.
Bob asked if i wanted a new ipr, i said there's no need, the stock one was running fine, so i kept the stock ipr.

i have about 25k on the injectors. the pulse did help quiet them down a little, but it also helped smooth out the motor. another 97 there had a CPR fuel system installed and that also quieted down the injectors

its hard to see in the pics but the plain outside look says nothing about the power. its in the center of the left pic and at the top of the right pic

it's really not that bad to get to. it took more time for me to remove and replace the fuel bowl than it took Bob to install the Pulse on 2 trucks without the stock fuel system. All in all, total time on my truck was about 2.5 hours.
