Not sure if this is where I should be posting. My apologies if not.

So I get this letter in the mail today. it states:

"Announcing Two Upgrades For Your 2007 F-Series Vehicle.
Extended New Vehicle Limited Warranty
Extended Roadside Service Assistance"

"Ford Motor Company is pleased to announce major improvements to both the New Vehicle Limited Warranty and the Roadside Service Assistance feature for your 2007..."

Specifics: Diesel engine warranty remains 5/100.. Other Powertrain components extended from 3/36 to 5/60 (wasn't this already the case??).

$100 deductible for diesel engine repairs is eliminated for all 2007 model year vehicles with a diesel engine.

Safety Restraint is extended from 5/50k to 5/60k.

Roadside is extended from 3/36 to 5/60.

Got a new warranty book with the letter.

Anyone else get this?

they announced this some time ago...even made
it retro-active to the 06 trucks.

its a great thing...and not to slam 'em but it really
wasnt much risk...their have not been many/any problems
w/ the: Torq-Shift Trannie, front/rear diffs or the xfer case
(and thats all theyre really adding to the 5/100 $100 deduct.)

i do think this is a GRAND MARKETING GESTURE...and it will
bring more folks to the brand !
