Question Propane injection worth it???

Propane will advance your timing. Depending on how much timing is already in your chip this may cause issues (well just one... boom). You may want to find a tuner that will write you a propane program. I find a hand calculated 26mpg hard to believe. Maybe on the lie-o-meter with a chip installed.

29 mpg could happen on diesel with propane, because propane is a fuel and will lessen the amount of diesel to go a mile, BUT it substitutes one fuel for another. You get no real deal with this thinking.

I figure propane is around .50 to .75 a gallon more than diesel. So I figure if it gives me 4+mpg it may be worth it. I'll just have to run the numbers

I was seeing mid 20's. After I installed the single shots I now see 35!
