V6?? How do the axles hold up to that kind of power?

Sorry, my mistake.........its a 56' Studebaker flat head six.

Although its rough terrain we are on relatively flat ground. With 5 people on board it will still walk over anything in 4 wheel low.

Coming right along :)

All new fuel line, fuel pump, new ps pump, ps hoses and battery terminals installed tonight.
Also got the master cylinder pulled so I can take it in tomorrow and see if they can match it up.

Think I got a match on the Master cyl. 1983 Ford Escort :) Only took two hours of searching every book they had. Will be here by Friday and we will see if it is a match.

Body

Got a little work done to the body this last weekend. Built a plate for the transfer case boot, replaced some of the floor, replaced the glove box and welded up all the exterior holes. There are many holes in the body of a military jeep that were used for tie-downs, handles and equipment mounts. Must have been 20 of them plugged with bondo but now they are plugged with steel :). Started smoothing out some of the lines with a thin layer of filler too. Differential carriers should ship this week so next weekend may be axle rebuild time. Last weekend I got the steering all wrapped up with new pitman drop arm and new stops. Have been able to put about 30 hours into it so far this month so I think I am on track for my June 1st completion plan :sweet
