didn`t like my idea about using fabric softner . use it after you have used the cleaner....then go over carpet with just water/fabric softner mixture in the carpet cleaner....glad your boy is doing better....

Oxyclean is good, but we've never used it on carpets, just laundry. We definitely need to do something with carpets too. Have four dogs in house. Letting them go outside frequently still doesn't stop the accidents. If anyone is allergic to the perfumes in Oxyclean, they also have an "unscented" version.
