At the price of corn these days I'd plant corn if we had enough water! Too bad cattle feed is going up too since.
We're going to try our hand at some soy beans next year, hopefully get a biodiesel feedstock contract!
Where'd you get this info? Corn doesn't go in the ground around here for a month maybe more and in the corn belt I'm sure it's later.

Guess whoever is making these claims is going off of barley acreages reported since that's already in the ground.
