Predator???

Guy I work with is offering me a Predator Programmer for $100. I have heard these are known for head gasket problems in the manual shift 6.0. I have an automatic. Is it worth it?

dont know for sure bout the 6.0 and pred.
i had one in my 02 7.3 loved it, egts could go crazy if you ran the highest hp load and i could rattle injectors like nobodies bus. on 110 hp load


i heard the 6.0 and the predator tuning didnt get along...call em and get the latest gouge, they were redoing it all last year... but i still run stock ecm loads now

Had one on my 03 Ex for about 30K miles and had no problems -
ran it at the 100+ hp setting all the time..

Sold mine for $150 when I got the 05 and bought an SCT xCal2....

Offer him $50 and see if he takes it - if he does have fun with it

but I would HIGHLY recommend a SCT xCal2 over it...

i wouldnt do it, the predetors are junk. ive had two, hated both.
