The juice/Attitude Combo is awesome. It gives a pretty nice horsepower increase, does not get you into a situation where EGT’s are a problem except for under the hardest of acceleration on super-steep grades (while towing 10K pounds)(Also, just FYI, doing the same thing in stock mode yields similar EGT results. The Edge J/A runs REALLY cool on my truck. I rarely have to watch the gauge, and when I do, under normal driving conditions, it has never gone above 1,100 degrees. By normal driving, I mean not floored. This was running about 23K gross pulling over Snoqualmie pass, so the J/A is great for towing and stays cool.). On top of that, even if the EGT’s get too high, and your wife is driving and forgets to watch the gauge, it defuels to make sure you don’t toast stuff. It monitors your performance and logs maximums, so you can see after a long, hard pull how high your boost got maximum and how high your EGT’s went (really good if you loan the truck to your teenage son, it is definitely a tattle-tale for truck abuse.) If you adjust the low-boost fuel settings, you can control how much smoke you make, so you can dial it in to make just the slightest of hazes at low-boost full throttle, and then you are assured you are getting the most power and least waste possible. The gauges are easier to read than the analog gauges. Analog gauges give you an “idea” of where you are at. I would tend to round 8 psi up to 10, (since it is close on the gauge) on a n analog, but with the digital, it tells me to the tenth where I am at.
IMHO, for towing safely and under full power, the J/A is second to none. I got mine for $650, shop around to see if you can, also. If you can get it for that, then you can’t do better price-wise anywhere else. IMHO, I wouldn’t own anything else.
