Why anyone would alter there truck instead of making a kid behave is beyond me. If you don't get a handle on the kid now you will have bigger problems than him messing with a window. If I tell my kids not to touch the window they don't touch the window!
Speaking of a crack across the tail I am thinking you may need one if you are smoking in a truck with small children on board. For crying out loud Rich haven't you heard about the dangers of second hand smoke?
If you are dead set on disabling them I am sure it could easily done by wiring the right front door into the same power as the left front door so that it does not get disabled by the lock-out switch.
