Passenger side power window has been going down slow and got to the point where it would barely move. dealer replaced the motor under warranty...and its starting to do it again. I feel like something needs to be greased....where do you grease it and what do you use?

sprayed the silicone grease in the tracks and still no luck. it almost acts like it jumps when its going back up. any other ideas as to what it could be? i dont even know how to get the motor out of there and I really dont want to take it back to the dealer.

Any ideas?

Yes, it was the spray. There was grease in the track before. Could this be the problem? I cant even get the spray can to all of the parts of the track. How would one go about doing that?

yeah, it could be..
grease congeals really bad when it dries out..
but you can adjust the tracks, and I'm thinking that might be the problem; keep it from binding.

yeah
pull the trim panel off, CAREFULLY peel back the vapor barrier..

follow the bottom of the tracks into the door with a flashlight..
grease up the cable
and grease the track the window runs on.. the bottom of it is sloppy to the point you can loosen the bolt around and move it to line up and run smoother

to clarify...the part that the window it self runs in (the track that is black that you can move around...basically covers the back side of the door handle)...are you saying to grease that? I would almost think thats gonna result it getting grease all over the window, would it not? and then as far as the other tracks...the metal ones that run parallel to the door...those are difficult to get to with the grease can...any other ideas on how to grease them/get the old grease out?:dunno

what you're talking about, you want to hose down real good with silicone spray, like WD40

The window is attatched to what's called a lift plate, which in turn runs on the lift channel. These are inside the door.
That is what you want to slime up real good with a light grease
