Power Tail Gate Lock

Has anyone ever converted the tail gate lock to power?

I just got a tonneau cover, and started locking my tailgate for the first time. I thought it may be cool to add a power lock switch to it, so that when I unlock my doors with my key fob, the tail gate unlocks too.

If anyone has any ideas on how to do this that would be cool.

Do a google search for Pop & Lock Electric Tailgate Lock. There are quite a few sites that sell it. Search around to find the best price. I'm not sure if any of the sponsors here carry it. That is the only one that I have seen. I have thought about just haven't put it in the budget/mod plans.

I got a pop-n-lock power tailgate lock a long while back and I LOVE IT! It is great with the tonneau. Very easy install. I think I got mine on E-bay.

I have had one on two different trucks, a 92 and the current 97. Works great, a little tough to install due to tight clearances in the tailgate, but overall not that difficult.
Great with a camper top or bed cover, gives another little bit of "keep yer eyes off'n my stuff" factor. :>))
