Four wheel drive trucks or Jeep have strange symptoms in the driver train that usually are related to the drive axle and not other systems, such as the power steering, for your example. Jack up your truck and check out the frontend before spending $$$ needlessly. Glad you found it, nascar.

yeah. i talked to alot of ppl before finding out what the cause was. but im good to go, thanks for the help
