I replaced my high pressure from the hydroboost to the power steering pump yesterday. Now the brakes feel strange and the pump is making a strange sound when turning. Does the system self bleed or do you manually bleed it. It soundslike the pump is low but I checked it and its full.

The Power steering needs to be vacuum bled to remove all the air.

You can do it yourself.

1. Get an old power steering cap
2. Drill an 3/16" hole through the cap.
3. Install a short piece of tubing and epoxy it into place.
4. Start engine.
5. Use a vacuum pump to create a slight vacuum, under 5" Hg .
6. Slowly turn wheels side to side.
7. BE CAREFUL NOT TO SUCK FLUID OUT.
8. Continue to apply vacuum until noise stops.

and what EXACTLY is the diff? he says there should be no issue, but I think he should of known. oh wait, I told him it was leaking, he said "No, seeping" & until we put it on the rack & he grabbed the hose & TONS of fluid rolled into his shirt, then he believed me. I guess this kinda shows why I started to work on this myself &why I have had to fire 3 mechanics in the past 2 mths:dizzy

he also, serviced the tranny lately & didn't do the filter under the radiator....is that easy to do? I went out & got one, but I got the whole (new) install kit...it was cheap
which, also reminds me that, I have noticed the transfer case is 'seeping' & he's seen it 'a lot worse', but BEFORE they serviced the tranny, it never leaked.
this is the same person who left my pcm screws out & I finally realized it, runs better:dunno
