Ford has a tsb out on this issue, It calls for a filter to be installed in the power steering line.
Does the brake pedal buck back just alittle also, when you first hit them?

I just installed a Magnefine filter in the hydroboost return line to the power steering resevoir. I have noticed a very slight "buck back" when I first hit the brake. I am assuming that it is due to the extra restriction. I will change the filter in a month or so and then cut it open to see what was caught. This filter system comes highly recommended from several forums and it is (I believe) what is recommended for installation at the dealership when fluid contamination is suspected.
