Are you talking about a seperate switch or the one that is on the inverter?
Is the switch (if additional) just so you do not have to reach under the dash?

I like where you put your inverter, I looked at your pics a while ago and was going to put mine there as well but my inverter is to big it will not fit. Tried to find a smaller one that was still a 1200 watt but could not.

About the F/W, did you go through the already provided whole that is kinda sealed with that tape? If so how did you seal it back up?

I am waiting on the fuses and connectors to come in the mail then Ill hook her up.

Thanks

the switch is part of the inverter right on front, i can use the dash plug or the one left on the inverter, mainly use it for the laptop puter.
as far as the f/w its wrapped in tape then the plastic convoluted tubing again wrapped in tape and ll goes through a rubber grommet in the lower firewall near the lower area. it has abut a 1/8 of rubber to haff through on the grommet

All I have found so far is 2" dia. D shaped hole covered with a black sticker and below that I have the main harness of wires and I do not see anything lower unless it is below carpet level. Thought there might be a gromet I could by for it.

pull the carpet back..its right there to the left of the bake pedal. just behind where my inverter is installed

Got all my parts in yesterday. Too cold outside to really mess with it. I thought last week I was aclimated to the weather cause I washed the cars and worked outside all day. But yesterday I was being a pansy and it was just a little bit colder.

I am really happy with the stuff I bought looked around at car toys, and some of the other chain stores and there stuff was all pimped out and expensive. Found some plain jane stuff on the internet. 23' os 2 gauge, two 250 amp ANL fuses one fuse holder 4 eyelet connectors some electricle lube. Red rubber boots to go over the fuse connections. $40.00 and change.

With the physical size of inverter and the limitations for the distance from battery I will have to mount it on the trasmission hump. So I found a nice looking red inverter. It will look pretty good actually. Do not really use the area. Just where the wife puts her purse but there is still room for that.
