Jose Canseco is no where close to being a man, nor any of the other cheaters who feel they have to "juice" up in order to play baseball.

They should all be banned for life.

A true baseball hero, who played the game for fun, with integrity, and for the love of game is Cal Ripken, Jr.

He is a good example of sportsmanship that young baseball fans can look upto today.
AMEN!!! You can also add Nolan Ryan to that list. We saw him get hit in the mouth by a line drive from Bo Jackson in the 2nd or 3rd inning once. All the players gathered on the mound, then he kept pitching. Later we saw on TV that his lip was busted and he pitched until the 7th inning. He kept rubbing it with his shirt and his shirt was so bloody it looked like he'd been shot. I think he had to have several stitches. Now THAT'S a role model!!!!!!

I don't disagree with you, Bama. Problem is that performance enhancing drugs have become the norm for alot of athletes. Up until a few years ago they weren't even tested. Random, or otherwise. Steroids were legal for years. Football is probably the worse example of people "looking the other way".
