Kevin, HERE is a good thread that has some of my engine pics with all the shiney stuff in it.

You can go to JET-HOT and see all the coatings that they offer.

Yooper, my truck was down for 3 months back in 2007 when I had the engine pulled for head studs and new gaskets. The turn around time on the boost tubes was about 2 weeks.

And Yooper, I still have the original boost tubes for my 6.0 if you are interested in them.

Wow bama that engine bay looks good. Like the braided hoses. Yooper I was going to say also if you are going to have them polished, I would have them clear coated would sure save in the long run. But if you are going to go with JET HOT sure you are all covered.

The idea I had for my boost tubes was to pull them out, clean them up good and get them coated in some high temp red paint. Since my truck is red, I thought it might look good. Bama, that under hood artworl of you'rs looks awesome.

Very impressive Stephen! I was wondering why I missed all those pictures until I looked at the dates, I was still in Afghanistan at the time they were posted.
I thought I was doing good by cleaning my batteries and spraying some simple green to clean up the grease and grit on a regular basis.

I use simple green when I clean my engine bay. It works really well.

Then I spray over the engine with my favortire shiney spray and then go over
everything with a towel.

The person that owned my truck before me didnt clean the engine bay at all. The first thing on my to do list this spring is to detail the engine bay because I cant stand the way it looks now.
