I was interested in the 10k mod myself a while back. Then the guys around here said that you dont get hardly anything out of it if you already haave a chip....so I never tried it.

Are you saying the information in the post is inaccurate? the trucks in question are also older than 6yrs old...so they should be in relevant time frame.
