Roy, if you can put that thing back together and it works like it should, you can do anything I would think. Good Luck.

They really aren't as bad as they look (although this is the first one of this particular trans that I have done) You just put one section together at a time, cut no corners and triple check yourself. Oh yeah, and don't let the customer push ya into a rush :D

I decided I should show the SDD community that I actually do work, and am not really on here all the time (like some have accused) :D
This is my latest project rebuilding a 16 x16 semi-powershift transmission in a New Holland 8340 (farm tractor)

I already got over 20 hours in this job, will be over 60 time it's done ;)
Cost of job- $6- 7,000

You've got the same roll-cab I do... but I have the matching chest..

man, that's one complex lookin' SOB tranny (mission, not vestite)...

$6-7,000 is cheap when you figure thats what, about a $120,000 piece of equipment?

and don't let the customer push ya into a rush
Rule of 3 B's. I didn't Build it, I didn't Buy it, and I didn't Break it.

I'd like to find a matching top for it now that I don't need the little boxes for the road anymore, besides it's getting kinda FULL :D

Actually, they were around $50,000 new, and this one's got 13,000 hours (that's A LOT of hours) and I think the guy paid $19,000 for it, so sticking 7,000 in it is PLENTY, considering it's probably only worth 20-25,000, with everything working.

I like that :D
