Hey everyone,

Now that I have ordered and will go pick up my new tug on saturday I have a couple of question for current KR owners.
1. any thing special I need to know about taking care of the leather or anything like that?
2. What can I do with the factory stereo,, it is the 6 disk job,, not that I wanted it, it just has it. I want to use my IPOD and Satilite Radio. I might just have to pull it out and put in an Alpine or something.
3. This is my first Ford,, Any hints you can give me on dealing with Ford and tricks to maintenace of the truck. I will be using it mainly for towing my weekend warrior 5'er.

It is a 06 F350DW KR 4.30 loaded... with the 6.0 and auto tranny...

Thanks in advance.

There's answers to all those questions on this site. I found them using the search button, thats why the some words are in red, those were the key words I used in the search.

Leather care:

and here

Ipod:

Maintenance:
There's just too many good threads on that. Go to the 6.0 forum and read a while.

Enjot your new truck:cool:

The only thing I can say is, GET GAUGES first thing! They saved me a couple of times.

If you're gonna be towing I'd recommend a 4" turbo-back exhaust, I have an MBRP and it's done fine. They all sound the same with the cat on or off.

Or do what I say and get an Edge Juice w/ Attitude, but I'm 18. Some of the old-timers recommend the SCT

OB NJ, land of traffic, stop lights, stop signs, a
RHINO line that thing. http://www.rhinolinings.com/RL/main/ go RHINO brand, its sooo much better then the knock offs and doesnt crack and look like S**T like the others do, and also your loads wont slide all over the place. they even have RHINO linings in custon colors. also get that thing undercoated it makes such a difference. i live in new jersey and if my truck wasnt undercoated i dont think i would have bought it, things rust sooo quickly that its just sooooo worth the money.. but thats just my :2c
GOOD LUCK with her

I've written an installation article on how to incorporate an iPod controller to the CD-6, which isn't a bad radio for a factory unit. It involves the installation of a PIE audio adapter which makes the AUX button on your CD-6 a input for any audio source you desire. Add the Harman-Kardon drive+play iPod controller and you can stick your iPod in the glove box and control it remotely, and still have an auxiliary input for another source. I use my auxiliary source for Sirius satellite radio.

Enjoy your new truck!
