My wife forwarded some photos to me from the Olympics in Beijing during her visit in Manila,not sure who she obtained them from. Nice choices of their cuisine there Yum yum Dim Sum!

You missed the commentators during the olympics, I don't know which night it was since we are two or three nights behind on tivo. One of the commentators did the same tour.

I think that I would pass.

I kind of wonder if the attitude is "let's see what we can get these foreigneors to eat"

Hey, a lot of Yankees say the same things about Southern cuisine.

I've eaten "Southern" or "soul" food all my life and I'm still here. My recently diagnosed heart problems were not caused by anything I ate. Just lousy genetics.

Now there are some things that grace Northern tables you wouldn't catch me eating at gunpoint. Scrapple immediately comes to mind. Lutefisk comes second.
