Baby boy born September 29th, 2010 9:49AM. 7lbs and 5ounces 21" long. Haven't gotten ANY sleep in the past 36hrs (guess I could get use to that) so I'm gonna see if I can't catch a couple of zzz's.

As an experienced parent and rookie grandpa, I can pass along two bits of sage wisdom,

1) Enjoy every moment you can with the kids while they are little. Once they hit the 11,12,13 range they'll think parents are an embarrassment. Being seen in public with them is so uncool and social suicide.

2) One parental goal should be to take every opportunity you can to screw your kids up as much as possible. That way you can fail as a parent and still feel pretty good about it.

All my kids turned out pretty good, so I guess I failed in my parental objectives. Oh well!!
