I was just wondering if anyone w/ the painted front ends has tried using one of those clear plastic paint protection systems like what 3m makes ? When I traded in my 03 that was the only area of the truck that did't look good. If anyone knows where to buy a precut kit please post & let me know. If anyone is interested Cover Craft makes seat covers that fit very well. I am on my 4th set ( different vehicles ) & they have done a great job of keeping the seat in excellent condition.

Not sure where to get the front end protector for our X,
but would be interested and consider it well worth it...
the next door neighbor has it on his Infinity coupe and you can't tell it's there !
But mostly, he swears by it - this is his third lease vehicle he's put it on...

Seat protectors !?!?! I'm in on that too...
my drivers side bolster looks terrible already !

Where did you get them ?

Thanks in advance !

I purchased at a local retailer figuring that if they didn't fit right I could return them much easier. Luckily they fit perfect so it wasn't a problem, except on my wifes X a retaining clip pulled off ( my fault ) called the store & they had another one there for me tha next day. I just ordered the paint protection film for my X & 350, should have it by next week. The person I ordered from also installs & said if you ever did window tint it shouldn't be much harder. I will post results as soon as I finish.

Two Guys garage site had an interesting item about seat "painting"

Front end liner
Actually saw an episode of Two guys garage or something or maybe trucks where they put that on and it was easy....
just clean it up REAL well before...
touch up any dings already there and smooth out the finish...

Dry fit it to make sure it works...
WET it and keep it wet...
position it perfectly and dry it off with squeegie (sp) etc...
