sooooo i was just showing my pmt to somebody and showed em that you can check for DTC's and wouldnt you know when i clicked it it popped up with two codes.. wfs (which i knew about and forgot to clear) and now P6011 ficm memory somethin or other... what is that about?? does that mean my ficm is toast?? hope not...

Who knows. The format that you gave is not correct, I think. It should be P0611 but not P6011. The number does not register on any of the codes I have. Check it again and tell me I am wrong.

Sorry trailey97 I am wrong. That codes indicates that a FICM Memory Fault. You might have a FICM going south...

so my ficm is deffinately on its way south... holds at 47 at idle but when you lay into it it constantly drops power... strange thing, the tech said that my tranny could be acting up bc of the ficm not working correctly. now in the market for a 58v ficm. seems like swamps is who everyone is sending me to but i dont have a week to wait without my truck. so i gotta do some digging...
bismic that sounds great but i am running my luck with Diesel Power Products in Spokane Washington. they are sending me a 58v with an added 40hp tune for $700. they are not charging me a core charge and they are not charging shipping. I prefer to keep my money local which is why i went to Diesel Innovations here in Houston but they couldnt do nothing without me having to wait around and they didnt seem to want to get ahold of swamps to see what could be done as far as not having to wait around for a week or so. I called the shop in washington and they said "yeah well ship one out and you ship us yours when you get the new one in!" ..... score!
