put new pump on, keeps popping number 19 fuse, owners manual says its the pump and pcm fuse... messed with it for a good bit today, checked pump relay... its fine, i also checked the fuel heater.... just for kicks... has 12 v going to each side of the plugs on the terminal...? doesnt sound normal... could the pcm have caused the failure? truck runs but dies shortly after running with the 19 fuse blown... could i have a wire shorted out somewhere, are there any other sensors that could be faulty on the same circuit that would cause this problem?

Don't have the Codes handy, or know the Year.. model or engine.. but from the above.. I'd say yer fuel heater has shorted. Common on some of these engines.

If/when you replace it ? get the heater from IH.. Much Better design & quality than OEM.

Tell us the info on yer PSD ?? Makes help'n out a Whole lot easier

Try disconnecting the fuel heater.. replace the fuse, erace the code, fire it up and see what you get.

When you replaced the pump, did you re-prime & purge the fuel system.. to get rid of any air ??

yes truck runs. drove for thirty miles or so, fuse 19 just intermittantly shorts. starts everytime will idle only. truck will run with fuse removed completly pulled fuel heater plug and the brake pressure switch. could it be a short in the pcm instead of something controlling the fuel. if so do you know how to test it?
